Gino's Brick Oven Pizza: Living up to the hype
There are a lot of restaurants opening up every month, and some of them fall short of expectations. Others, however, do live up to the hype, to the giddines of the food-loving people like us :)
Gino's Brick Oven Pizza is one of those who prove to be worth lining up for. It's a happy addition to the buzzing Salcedo Village dining scene.
Been eating there with my officemates, and the two times we were there, we ordered the same things, hahahaha! Sticking to what works :) That's Burrata, Salted Egg Pasta (2 orders - yum!) and Gouda Pizza :)
To top it all off, we only paid Php 250 oer person for everything. You can't beat a happy tummy + happy wallet combo like that!

Tandang Sora Shrine
It shouldn't come as a surprise, but I was still pleasantly surprised when I discovered the Tandang Sora Shrine, in - yes, you guessed it right - Tandang Sora, Quezon City!

Sunrise at Angkor Wat
It has been in my dreams to catch the sun rise over at Angkor Wat. And it's as magical as I thought it could be, and I can only thank God for letting ne experience this.
The temple complex lays off a mystical silhoutte as the sun slowly gets up from its night-long slumber. It was magical.
And probably the sun was delighted to see us first thing in the morning, it decided to shine on us so brightly the rest of the day.
It was so humbling to walk around temples built and designed from way back. It somehow connects us to the old world, and is simply amazing; I am blessed.
