Pretty Brunch Place
The Early Bird Breakfast Club is one pretty brunch place. I honestly think the food in this place tastes a lot better because of the prettiness of the place!

Pico de Loro
I visited Pico de Loro late last year with friends from church as part of our annual yearend activity.
It was my first time in the resort and I was quite impressed with the resort :) Spending time with a bunch of fun, good people amidst nice, lush greens and the sea as a backdrop - what more can you ask for? :)

That Chicken from Kettle
Ok. I've been wanting to eat here at Kettle for the longest time, but since it's out of my way, it took some time before I could finally do so.
So, how was it? The Buttermilk Chicken is good and tender, but I really don't get all the rave about it. It's definitely not bad, it's just ok.

The Best Beach I've been to
I haven't been to half of the beach I want to visit around the country, but Calaguas stands out as the best beach I've ever been to.
White, powdery sand cuts across between the blue ocean and the blue sky.
And the sunset can give Boracay's sunset a run for it's money.
However, I wasn't able to take a picture of the best moment I had while I was in the island. It was 3 AM and I woke up from sleep. I don't know what I was thinking, but I decided to get out of our tent. And the moment I caught a glimpse of the night sky splattered with as much stars as the space could allow, I was enthralled.
The sight was amazing, and it was nothing like I have ever seen and experienced. I almost felt undeserving, it was truly, truly beautiful.
So, yes, Calaguas takes up the spot as my best beach in the beach-rich Philippines.

Gino's Brick Oven Pizza: Living up to the hype
There are a lot of restaurants opening up every month, and some of them fall short of expectations. Others, however, do live up to the hype, to the giddines of the food-loving people like us :)
Gino's Brick Oven Pizza is one of those who prove to be worth lining up for. It's a happy addition to the buzzing Salcedo Village dining scene.
Been eating there with my officemates, and the two times we were there, we ordered the same things, hahahaha! Sticking to what works :) That's Burrata, Salted Egg Pasta (2 orders - yum!) and Gouda Pizza :)
To top it all off, we only paid Php 250 oer person for everything. You can't beat a happy tummy + happy wallet combo like that!
