Starmobile Introduces Next Generation Smartphones

Philippine gadget maker Starmobile raises the stakes once again as it unveils two of the most innovative smartphones ever launched by a local brand: the Starmobile KNIGHT X and the Starmobile UP Snap.

Touted as the most advanced Pinoy Android phone in existence, the 5.5-inch Full HD Starmobile KNIGHT X features the latest Super Octa Core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.

The powerful combo puts it at par with premium offerings from international brands making it perfect for playing the latest games and for heavy tasks such as Full HD video editing.

In terms of connectivity, the KNIGHT sports multi-mode 4G LTE that can work across 15 frequencies around the globe. And when paired with a largest-in-class 3350mAh battery (40% larger in terms of capacity compared to its competitors) then this certified 'world phone' can connect to the latest data and voice services for hours on end.

Photo enthusiasts, meanwhile will love the 13 Megapixel Sony Exmor RS IMX 135 sensor with a 5-piece lens that delivers vibrant and natural colors for crisp and lifelike images.

Finally, Near Field Communication (NFC) capabilities and WiFi AC also come standard in the KNIGHT X. These two wireless technologies ensure that this groundbreaking device is ready for the Internet of things.

For users who are looking for simpler , yet equally snap-happy Android smartphone, there's the UP Snap - the first Pinoy smartphone with an 8MP UltraPixel camera.

UltraPixel cameras feature light sensors which have larger-than-average pixels. Because of their size the parge pixels absorb more light, thus resulting in less noise, more detail, and crisper colors.

Image quality is further improved with the help of the f2.0 wide aperture lens, which allows more light to reach the UltraPixel sensor.

Fortune Island Escapade

I have had to postpone the trip to Fortune Island several times due to various reasons, and so I was glad it finally pushed through.

It was a beautiful mess. An island that has seen better days, abandoned and left to ruins.

Food Tripping in SM Aura

I spent an entire afternoon in SM Aura to try out the restaurants out there because I'm curious like that :)

First stop was Yakitori One at the food court.

I had rice with bacon-coated quail eggs and bacon-coated asparagus. It was not bad, but it's not really something I'll crave for. And come to think of it, I really haven't since I visited.

Next stop was Shine Cafe by celebrity couple chefs Rob and Sunshine Pengson. I ordered dessert and something to munch on - Salted Caramel Eclair and Umami Fries. Both were good, but a little overpriced.

Last stop for the afternoon is Paul. I was so full by this time that I could only eat their Lemon Tart, and I loved it :) I've always been a fan of tangy pies :)

Let me add this up though I did not go there that same day, because that would be crazy.

I went to Todd English Food Hall with Elaine, and it was a fun time over good food :)

We ordered salad, tacos, mac 'n cheese and their famous OMG dessert. Everything was great :)

This was the night's runaway winner! Sooo good!

And of course, good food is best shared with great friends :)

Bagasbas

We made a side trip to Bagasbas Beach in Daet when we went to Calaguas earlier this year, and I'm only too glad we did.

There's always something about the sea that's calming and relaxing, eh?

Chocolate Fire

Pretty Brunch Place

The Early Bird Breakfast Club is one pretty brunch place. I honestly think the food in this place tastes a lot better because of the prettiness of the place!

Mary Grace

Sometimes, I just want to eat where it's sure and where it's reliable :)

Pico de Loro

I visited Pico de Loro late last year with friends from church as part of our annual yearend activity.

It was my first time in the resort and I was quite impressed with the resort :) Spending time with a bunch of fun, good people amidst nice, lush greens and the sea as a backdrop - what more can you ask for? :)
